Nicole Richie’s alarmingly skinny frame has given many people cause for concern for her unborn child. But the nearly four-months-pregnant star told Diane Sawyer in part two of her Good Morning America interview today that there is nothing to worry about. “I eat all the time, especially now,” said Nicole. “I’m constantly hungry. I’m eating at least every hour.”

The welfare of her child is of utmost concern to her, said Nicole. “Just like any mother, you know, you want to take the best care of yourself, especially while you’re pregnant. And I’m definitely eating healthier now, and I’m really playing by the rules. I do not drink caffeine at all, I cut out sushi.”

And as for drugs and alcohol, the formerly “out of control party girl,” to use Diane Sawyer’s words, remained adamant that she’s changed her lifestyle. “No alcohol ... No marijuana ... No pills ... Nothing ... No smoking around me,” said Nicole. Her boyfriend, Good Charlotte front man Joel Madden, has also joined her in her efforts to protect their unborn child and quit smoking.

Nicole Richie Tells Diane Sawyer She's Four Months Pregnant

Almost four weeks after Us Weekly first broke the news that Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden were expecting, Richie has finally confirmed her pregnancy.

In an interview scheduled to air this Thursday on Good Morning America and then Friday on Good Morning America and 20/20, the former Simple Life star tells ABC News' Diane Sawyer, "Yes I am. We are. I'm almost four months."

In addition to finally coming clean on her growing baby bump, Richie, 25, talks to Sawyer about her decision to plead guilty to drunk driving charges. “I have a responsibility and it’s something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would. And unfortunately I can’t, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult.”

Richie was convicted on July 27 and must serve 96 hours in jail for her DUI within the next 60 days.

Mischa Barton Quits Hollywood Party Scene

Former The O.C. star Mischa Barton has quit the Hollywood party scene after tiring of the two-faced nature of local party girls.

Barton famously clashed with former pal Paris Hilton when she declared the hotel heiress "seems to hate everyone around her age who is more successful".

During her time on The O.C., Barton was regularly spotted out partying with then-boyfriend Brandon Davis and good pal Nicole Richie.

However, in a bid to be taken more seriously as an actress, Barton is staying away from Tinseltown's nightlife.

She says, "When I got there (L.A.) I didn't know anything about the business and you don't make the best of friends. You make a few mistakes when you're that age and it took me a while to find the friends I needed, to be truly comfortable. I'm a private person, you won't find more than four or five true friends around me, ever."

"(The tabloid persona) - it is a persona. It's not me. I think, 'Who the hell is that girl?' I'm so low-key and chilled. But the media has created a fake 'young Hollywood' where everyone hangs out together and everybody knows each other. It couldn't be further from the truth. I feel so, so different from those girls."

Nicole Richie Pleaded Not Guilty & Gets Delay in DUI Case

Nicole Richie has won a delay in her driving under the influence case.

Superior Court Commissioner Steven K. Lubell on Tuesday set a new date of July 11 at the request of a defense attorney.

That means the trial could start on that date or within the following 10 days, said Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for prosecutors.

Richie, the 25-year-old daughter of pop singer Lionel Richie, was arrested Dec. 11. She pleaded not guilty in February to misdemeanor driving under the influence.

In addition to the single count, the case contains an allegation that Richie had a prior misdemeanor DUI conviction in June 2003.

The California vehicle code says if convicted of DUI twice within 10 years, a person can be sentenced to between 90 days and a year in jail and have his or her driving privileges suspended.

Her publicist didn't respond Tuesday to an e-mail seeking comment.

Nicole Richie hit the airwaves Wednesday morning to speak out about the latest round of young Hollywood scandals. The 25-year-old Simple Life star, who played host to two of this weekends' fallen starlets at a barbeque on Sunday, joined the On Air With Ryan Seacrest show to chat about her ongoing court case, friends Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, and the recent rumors about her returning to rehab. On if Paris is nervous about jail:
"Wouldn't you be?...Of course she is."

On the possibility of getting jail time for her December 6 arrest:
"Everything is possible at this point...I'm nervous, but I understand that I have to deal with whatever consequences come my way, and I take responsibility."

On Lindsay Lohan:
"I haven't talked to her...she was at my barbeque, but I didn't see her...I saw Mischa, but I missed Lindsay...I think she was there for 5 minutes."

On recent rumors that she was back in rehab:
"I hadn't been photographed in a couple of weeks...people were wondering where I was...the truth was, I was on tour with [boyfriend] Joel [Madden]. I don't have any plans to go back [to rehab]. Hopefully I won't ever have to go back."

Joel Madden Dumped Nicole Richie?

Nicole Richie and her rocker beau Joel Madden have split, according to reports in Australia. Sydney's Daily

Telegraph claims the couple secretly split after attending the MTV Australia Video Music Awards last month.

The publication's Sydney Confidential reveals Good Charlotte frontman Madden dumped Richie for being "too clingy."

Nicole Richie Engaged & Almost Wed in Vegas

'The Simple Life' star and the Good Charlotte frontman almost tied the knot in Las Vegas' on February 17, but decided to get Nicole's adoptive dad Lionel Richie's blessing first.

A source told National Enquirer magazine: "They picked out matching silver and diamond rings at a jewellery boutique in Caesar's Palace and then headed to the Little White Wedding Chapel where the hovered outside for ages.

"But Nicole Richie wanted her dad's blessing so they went straight to see him when they got back to Los Angeles."

Joel was reportedly terrified about asking Lionel for his blessing.

The source added: "Joel was nervous but he was greeted with open arms and a big hug from Lionel, who thanked him for everything he has done for Nicole."

The couple are now planning to marry in front of their close family and friends at Mexico's Las Ventanas resort in Cabo San Lucas.

The source revealed: "It would be a small ceremony with under 100 people."

Courtney Love Claims There Were Drugs at Paris Hilton's Bday Party

Rocker Courtney Love has sparked concern about Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie's plans to work as camp counsellors for children in a TV series, after claiming drugs were readily available at Hilton's recent birthday party.

In a posting on her website, the former Hole singer has spoken out about the "white powder" she discovered in the toilet at Hilton's February 24, 2007, party.

And now the head of Foundations For Jewish Camping is worried about the pair's stint as camp counsellors in the upcoming fifth season of their reality show The Simple Life.

Jerry Silverman tells the New York Daily News, "Counsellors are trained, recruited and tested. We take (it) very seriously."

The latest season of the show has already made headlines after Richie was taken to hospital on Friday suffering from dehydration on set.

Pairs Hilton Has No Friends, No One Showed Up At Her Birthday Party

Paris Hilton didn't invite her best friend Kim Kardashian to her 26th birthday party in Las Vegas because she was afraid Kim's sex tape would distract from hers. A source says: "She didn't want Kim on the red carpet stealing her thunder." Unfortunately, even the people who were invited didn't show up as she got stood up by A-list celebrities and even her friends. Sources say there were no names there except her sister, and at one point Paris announced on a microphone that Nicole Richie was "on her way" but Richie never showed up.

But even without many boldfaces, things at the after-party at the Penthouse Suite got a little odd. After downing TY KU liquor and bottles of Dom Perignon, guests reported seeing Hilton play with a monkey while a band of midgets led a pack of goats around the room.
