Dita Von Teese To Play Movie Stripper

Burlesque star Dita Von Teese is to make her big screen debut playing a stripper in a movie to be shot on country star Willie Nelson's Texas ranch.

Von Teese will take the lead in The Boom Boom Room, based on a novel by Lian Lunson.

She will star alongside Willie Nelson and Katherine Helmond, who will mentor Von Teese's young stripper.

Producer Orian Williams says of the location, "I say Willie's Ranch but it is more like a city. It's perfect for a desert town."

He adds of the film, "It's the journey of an everyday girl to the world of burlesque. You see the transition. It's a beautiful family story, almost a fairy tale, about love and loss and gain."

Dita Von Teese Left Marilyn Manson For Cheating?

Dita Von Teese walked out on estranged husband Marilyn Manson on Christmas Day after discovering a shocking secret he was keeping. The burlesque star insists she and the shock rocker were blissfully happy until the break-up. She refuses to reveal what drove them apart, but hints Manson may have cheated.

She tells Harper's Bazaar magazine, "We were completely monogamous. I think people thought we were free and open, but we really believed in commitment, tradition and our vows. But sometimes people change their ideas, I suppose." If that doesn't imply cheating, then I don't know what does.

On what caused the split, she adds, "Let's say it must have been something pretty bad!" Well, I don't know what she ever saw in him anyways.

Meanwhile, Manson fears he will be blamed for the Virginia Tech shootings like he was for the Columbine shootings.
