Paris Hilton Drops Panties 'To Out Do Lohan'

Paris Hilton engineers opportunities to get photographed without underwear in a bid to outdo her party girl rivals, a pal claims.

The socialite was recently snapped flashing her genitals while emerging from a car, and friend Jonathan Jaxson reveals it was all pre-arranged for publicity.

He says, "When she was photographed wearing no knickers, she did it on purpose - for attention."

"If someone else was in the limelight, such as Lindsay Lohan, she would want to beat them."

Jaxson adds Hilton frequently tips of paparazzi of her whereabouts just to ensure she makes the front page, saying, "It is definitely eye-opening to see young Hollywood, and how they fabricate their lives."

Paris Hilton Dog-Food Can Fetches $305 on E-Bay

An empty can of gourmet dog food taken from Paris Hilton's trash fetched $305 in an eBay auction.

The sellers were from the Web site HollywoodStarTrash.com, which also listed several other Hilton items for sale on eBay (nasdaq: EBAY - news - people ). A used toothbrush sold for $305; two envelopes sent to her while she was in jail sold for $510; and a Coke can pulled from her trash went for $51.

The organic gourmet dog food was produced by Party Animal Inc., and can be found in about 150 stores in Southern California and about 40 in New York. It can also be bought through the company's Web site.

Newsreader Explains Paris Hilton Refusal

U.S. newsreader Mika Brzezinski has become a heroine after her on-air refusal to read a Paris Hilton story instead on an item related to the Iraq war.

Brzezinski, co-host of Morning Joe on network Msnbc, stunned her bosses when she snubbed the leading item regarding Hilton's release from jail, believing the story did not deserve precedence over other reports regarding Iraq and the White House.

Since her outburst, the clip has attracted hundreds of thousands of views on videosharing website YouTube.com and Brzezinski has been inundated with praise from viewers and media professionals alike.

She says, "I had one woman send me an email and she told me was weeping tears of joy that someone finally took a stand."

"We were making a statement on our show. I hope making it will start to change something. It became like a piece of theatre.

"We need to have an open discussion about what is news and what is not... I don't think I am in trouble (with my bosses)."

Paris Hilton's School For Entrepreneurs

Paris Hilton to teach business to budding entrepreneurs?

Paris Hilton is reportedly set to pass on her business tips to budding entrepreneurs, after an educational institute offered her $1 million for the privilege.

The Simple Life star - who was released from a California jail on Tuesday (26Jun07) after serving 23-days behind bars for violating her probation - has set up several business ventures of her own under the names Paris Hilton Enterprises, Paris Hilton Entertainment, and Heiress Records.

Some of her deals include designing a collection of purses for Japanese fashion label Samantha Thavasa and releasing her own-branded perfume with Parlux Fragrances for both men and women.

But Hilton could soon add teaching to her growing list of accomplishments, if adult educational school The Learning Annex in New York has its way.

The institute's president Bill Zanker tells the New York Post, "We just sent over the offer to her this morning, and I think there's a good chance she'd do it. She's a brilliant entrepreneur. I believe she can offer her knowledge and give back to other entrepreneurs. She's obviously brilliant, and my students would love her.

"She's a businessman who has made this persona. We have a lot of people in small business, and where they need the most help is getting branded. Who is better at branding than Paris Hilton?"

Lindsay Lohan To Play Paris Hilton In A Movie

Lindsay Lohan has been tipped to play Paris Hilton in a movie of her life.

The 'Mean Girls' actress, who is currently in Malibu's Promises rehab centre, could also be joined by Britney Spears on the project.

A source told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "There have already been negotiations with a major film company to make the Paris Hilton biopic with Lindsay Lohan playing Paris - with Britney Spears singing the soundtrack."

The three stars have previously been seen partying together.

Lindsay and Britney both entered rehab this year, while Paris was released from prison on Tuesday (26.06.07) after serving 23 days for driving with a suspended licence.

Paris Hilton Has Called Her Jail Sentence A New Beginning

The hotel heiress - who spent 23 days in a California county jail for driving with a suspended licence - wants to turn her back on her wild partying ways.

Paris told US chat show host Larry King: "They say when you reach a crossroad or a turning point in life, it really doesn't matter how we got there, but it's what we do next after we got there.

"Usually you arrive there by adversity, and it is then, and only then, that we find out who we truly are and what we're truly made of. It's a process, a gift and a journey, and if we can travel it alone, although the road may be rough at the beginning, you find an ability to walk it. A way to start fresh again.

"It's neither a downfall nor a failure, but a new beginning. And I felt like this is a new beginning for me, to see jail - and I just used it as a journey to figure out myself and who I am and what I want to do. There's just so much more to me than what people think."

The 26-year-old blonde was confined to her cell for 23 hours a day, only leaving to shower and call her family, but she spoke to other inmates through air vents.

The socialite described prison food as awful and revealed the other inmates called it "mystery slop".

Paris Hilton Set To Be Released From Jail On Tuesday

The hotel heiress, who is currently serving a 45-day sentence at California's Century Regional Detention Facility for driving with a suspended license, will be freed early due to overcrowding.

Paris, who has also had the length of her incarceration reduced for good behavior, will have served just half of her sentence.

The Los Angeles Sheriff's department spokesman refused to reveal what time she will leave jail and if any special arrangements have been made for her release.

Paris, 26, will earn a reported £150,000 for a magazine interview and a further £500,000 for her first TV interview revealing all about her time in prison.

Paris Hilton's Mercedes McLaren Repossessed

Paris Hilton's car has been repossessed after she failed to make the last two payments, it has been reported.

The hotel heiress, who is serving a 45-day jail sentence for driving with a suspended licence, will be shocked to learn that her Mercedes - allegedly worth a staggering $500,000 - has been towed away.

A source at the recovery lot where the impressive vehicle is being held told Australia's New Weekly magazine: "When we learned it was Paris' car, we were shocked. She must have been so distracted with everything else, she forgot to pay her bills!"

Meanwhile, Paris has been invited to pose for Playboy - but her mother Kathy won't agree to it.

Playboy millionaire Hugh Hefner, who would love the sexy blonde to pose for the magazine when she is released from jail, feels Kathy's disapproval will prevent her.

Hefner told Access Hollywood: "Well, that's a standing offer. I think the problem quite frankly is mama. Mama doesn't want her to pose."

Paris Hilton's Neighbors Prepare For Release

Paris Hilton's West Hollywood neighbors are bracing themselves for a media circus when the heiress is released from jail.

The socialite is currently serving time at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California for a parole violation, but is expected to be released for good behavior on 25 June (07).

But her neighbors, who have filed more than 50 complaints about noise and press obstruction to their homes since Hilton was incarcerated, are worried the media will disturb their peace even more on her return.

A spokeswoman for the LAPD, Department of Transportation and Department of Street Services, tells the New York Daily News, "There are no plans to force her out of her home but action is being taken to minimize the annoyance of other occupants."

She adds "Most (complaints) concerned noise from the five helicopters that handled the live coverage of her one day at home. Other issues involved overcrowding and space issues, because the street is very narrow, doesn't have sidewalks and has no parking."

Judge Judy And Fox Agree With Paris Hilton's Jail Term

Actress Vivica A. Fox has no sympathy for jailed socialite Paris Hilton - insisting celebrities should never be above the law.

And Fox admits that celebrities should take their punishment with grace because everyone is watching them.

She says "We are not above the law. She's going to get more coverage when her butt gets out of jail. It's going to be a special alert and we all are going to watch, right?"

Hilton is currently serving time at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California for violating her probation on a 2006 drink driving arrest, but is expected to be released for good behavior on 25 June (07).

Meanwhile according to TV star Judge Judy socialite Paris Hilton was rightly jailed for violating probation, according to TV star Judge Judy Sheindlin.

Los Angeles authorities have been accused of treating Hilton harshly - but the star of Judge Judy, herself a former family court judge, insists her sentence was fair.

She told talk show host Larry King last night (18Jun07), "When a judge says to somebody, 'I'm going to give you an opportunity to remain free - you committed a crime.' In this case, she was driving while intoxicated and endangered a lot of people. 'But I'm going to give you a chance to stay out of jail, even though I could put you in jail for what you did, but you have to abide by these rules.' And she breaks the rules.

"Paris Hilton is a criminal - a little criminal, but a criminal."

Britney Spears Complains, Billboards Removed

Radio station billboards that featured unflattering photos of a bald, scowling Britney Spears have been taken down after the pop star's attorneys threatened legal action.

In a letter to Clear Channel Communications Inc. dated Thursday, Spears' attorneys accused the company of "offensive, unauthorized commercial exploitation" of the 25-year-old singer, and demanded that the three billboards in the Tampa area be removed. The letter was posted on The Smoking Gun Web site.

The billboards, advertisements for WFLZ FM's "The MJ Morning Show," depicted a bald Spears and show host Todd Schnitt along with the slogans "Total Nut Jobs," "Shock Therapy" and "Certifiable."

"We have confirmed that the billboards are down," Clear Channel spokeswoman Michele Clarke said Tuesday. She referred other questions to the Clear Channel offices in Tampa, whose representatives didn't immediately return a call seeking comment.

"Clear Channel has removed the billboards, and I'm not happy with that," Schnitt told the St. Petersburg Times.

A call to the Los Angeles attorney who signed the letter to Clear Channel wasn't immediately returned Tuesday.

Paris Hilton Costs Taxpayer 11 Times Average Inmate

Socialite Paris Hilton's spell in jail is costing the taxpayer more than 11 times what it costs to incarcerate the average inmate.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress costs Los Angeles County $1,109.78, compared to the average $99.64.

Los Angeles Sherriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore tells website TMZ.com, Hilton's tab includes medical treatment and staff associated with her requirements.

Hilton was sent back to the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California on Friday to finish the 45-day sentence she began earlier this month - after a judge reversed the decision to allow her to complete the sentence under house arrest.

If Hilton had finished her sentence at home, it would have cost the County nothing.

Paris Hilton's Neighbours Complain About Helicopter Noise

An "enormous" number of people living in Paris Hilton's West Hollywood neighbourhood have complained about the noise made by helicopters filming the jailed socialite's home on Friday.

Local residents are angry about being woken up by choppers in the early hours of Friday morning, the same day Hilton was sent back to Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California to finish the 45 day sentence she began on June 3rd.

West Hollywood City Council Mayor Pro Tempore Jeffrey Prang has written a letter - dated 8 June - to his constituents explaining that while he shares their displeasure at being woken up by helicopters, the issue is out of his jurisdiction.

He writes, "I have received an enormous number of calls and e-mails today about the helicopters hovering over the city... Given the publicity and controversy surrounding her recent incarceration and re-assignment to house arrest, the media has converged on our community, including a flock of helicopters."

"Like many of you, I too was woken this morning about 5:30am by helicopters. However, I want to let you know that the City Of West Hollywood and the Sheriff's Department, as well as the City Of Los Angeles and their Police Department, have no authority or jurisdiction over airspace and helicopters hovering overhead."

Prang goes on to suggest residents contact the Federal Aviation Administration (faa) and the TV news stations who use footage filmed from helicopters.

Hilton was jailed for violating her parole following a 2006 drink driving arrest.

Paris Hilton's Prison Reflection

Paris Hilton is "reflecting on her life and how to make the world better" while behind bars.

The hotel heiress's lawyer, Richard A. Hutton, visited her at California's Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood yesterday (04.06.07) after her first night in jail.

As he left the facility, Hutton said: "Her attitude is - I'm going to come in here, I'm going to do my time, get it over with, and I'm going to show the world who I really am.

"She's using this time to reflect on her life, to see what she can do to make the world better.

"She's doing very well under the circumstances. The staff here have reported that she has been gracious, polite, and thankful for helping her.

Paris Hilton Got Another Ticket

Jail-bound Paris Hilton has had another run in with the law - she's been issued with a parking ticket.

The troubled socialite was issued the fine in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon, after authorities noticed her vehicle had outstayed the allowed parking period.

Hilton - who is due to start serving her sentence on Tuesday for violating the probation terms of her 2006 drink-driving arrest - was busy painting in a nearby craft store when her car was slapped with the fine by traffic cops.

Meanwhile, TMZ.com reports that officials at Los Angeles' Century Regional Detention Center have already started preparations for the 26-year-old's stay - they've allegedly chosen her cell mate and issued a "written protocol" detailing "when and how things should be done for her".

Paris Hilton's Cell Mate Hand-Picked

TMZ has learned Paris Hilton's cell mate has already been selected.

Officials at the jail where Paris will do time have decided an inmate who is doing time for reckless driving will be the perfect match for Paris. Sources tell TMZ that jailers were looking for someone who they believe will not try to cash in on Hilton's stay. The woman is already in the cell that Paris will be in ... waiting for a touch of Hilton.

Sources also tell TMZ that jailers are already conducting searches of anything electronic -- they are prohibiting cameras, cellphones and the like. We're told a memo has gone out to the staff, warning them that anyone who takes pictures of Paris will be disciplined -- i.e., fired.

Our sources say a "written protocol" has already been prepared especially for Paris' stay, detailing "when and how things should be done for her."

Paris Hilton Tries To Look Like An Angel

Paris Hilton still trying to prove to the courts she is an innocent angel. She was photographed leaving a church on Mother's Day, now she's carrying a Bible.

She already got her sentence reduce to 23 days for good behavior. Maybe she's trying to completely revoke the sentence for more good behavior, which is basically just not bad behavior.

This is definitely a publicity stunt. No one holds their books spread out like that. It's only so the photogs can get a picture of the titles.

Paris Hilton Will Not Appeal Her Jail Sentence

Paris Hilton will not appeal against her 45-day jail sentence.

Paris' lawyer notified Los Angeles County Superior Court of his client's decision yesterday (17.05.07), court spokeswoman Katherine Roberts revealed.

The 26-year-old, who is due to begin her sentence on June 5, will only serve half of her sentence - about 23 days - after being rewarded for good behavior.

Los Angeles County Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore has slammed reports Paris could leave prison within hours of arriving due to the prison's overcrowding issues - and wouldn't reveal if special security arrangements have been made for her.
