Mark Wahlberg Hospitalized His Friend

It seems Mark Wahlberg packs a devastating punch; Wahlberg sent his friend amateur boxer Brian Nguyen to the hospital during a training session for his new boxing movie "The Fighter". I can see why looking at those guns in the photo above; his arms are huge. He certainly has come a long way since his days as Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.

A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "Brian told Mark to go ahead and put some power behind his punches. Mark was reluctant, but Brian insisted."

"So Mark let loose a whopper of a blow leaving Brian in need of medical treatment."

The injured boxer was taken to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for tests.

The source added: "Mark was there the whole time.

"After a week, Brian was still dizzy and was having trouble standing but the doctors could not diagnose him and discharged him to recover at home.

"The doctors are still not sure how much damage has been done. They're playing a waiting game. Mark is heartsick. He just wants Brian to get well, and he told the doctors to spare no cost."

When asked to comment on the injury he suffered while training with Mark, Brian said: "I really can't talk about it."

I love looking at Mark Wahlberg no matter what the situation. I do have to tell you that he's from the Funky Bunch, his brother Donnie was from the New Kids. Great post, though! I didn't see this anywhere else.

Let's remember what happend to Du Ku Kim when "Boom Boom" Mancini fought him, shall we?

Was this what he was recreating? it certainly sounds like it.

On the other hand, this sounds like an accident that most guys have suffered from at one time or another.

Mark Wahlberg was actually an original member of NKOTB, but he backout at the beginning because he didn't like the clean image.
