Penelope Cruz Owns A Karaoke Machine

Penelope Cruz's friends are "too cool" to sing karaoke with her.

The stunning 'Volver' actress - who confessed to being addicted to singing along to her favourite tunes - is tired of her friends being too timid at karaoke parties.

Penelope said: "I have a karaoke machine at home. Sometimes I do karaoke parties.

"Everyone arrives saying that they are not going to sing, but everybody ends up performing.

"I don't force them. They all say, 'Oh I am too cool for karaoke', and then later they are all fighting for the microphone!"

The 33-year-old Spanish star also says she would rather have a quiet dinner with friends than party in a noisy nightclub.

Penelope Cruz and Josh Hartnett Back On?

Penelope Cruz seems to be back together with old flame, Josh Hartnett.

The reunited couple spent a romantic weekend together, taking in Broadway musical ‘Spring Awakening’ on Saturday and then heading off for a cozy dinner.

The pretty twosome desperately tried to go undercover on Friday as they enjoyed a romantic lunch together at Frankies in New York on Friday.

"Josh was wearing a grey hoodie with black sunglasses and Penelope was wearing sunglasses too. They were trying to go incognito," a source told Perez Hilton.

Penelope Cruz Wants To Adopt A Child

And the adoption craze continues; is it some kind of celebrity fad? publicity stunt? Or could they really be concerned?

Penelope Cruz wants to have kids of her own – but she also hopes to adopt.

"Of course I want to have kids," Cruz, 32, tells the Spanish edition of Marie Claire in its April issue. "I want to have my own kids, but also adopt. For a while I've had the feeling that my life won't be complete if I don't adopt."

As for a prospective father of any children, Cruz – who split with Matthew McConaughey last year and has recently been linked with Orlando Bloom and Josh Hartnett – says she's currently single.

"Yes, but that's all I'm going to say," she replies when asked. "I know in past interviews I talk about my job, but the article only talks about my [personal] life. I'm not entering into that game."

Man or no man, the native of Spain says she's enjoying life in Los Angeles.

"I didn't like it immediately, but now it's good. I've got a circle of dear friends; I love my house and my little dog Vino."
