Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has vowed to quit Hollywood in a bid to stay clean from drugs, according to her father.

Michael Lohan reunited with his daughter earlier this month in Utah, where the Mean Girls star is seeking counselling at the Cirque Lodge treatment centre.

He says, "When we finally came face to face we just clung on to each other and did not stop crying for at least half an hour.

"Lindsay said, 'Daddy, I have done some terrible things and been addicted to drugs but please believe me I will never do drugs again. I hate Hollywood and I don't want to work there. I need a break and I am moving away. I will stop hanging around with the people that are bad for me.'"

"She said she does not want to live in Hollywood as that is where the evil in her life happens."

The pair haven't seen each other since Michael went to prison in New York after he was found guilty of driving while intoxicated and other charges two years ago.

Jennifer Lopez stunned the style police at the New York Fashion Week on Tuesday when she staged a surprise JustSweet show, launching her latest clothing line.

Wearing a trendy lime green mini-dress from her new fashion line, the actress/singer gushed, "I love creating things and I've loved clothes since I was a little girl."

Lopez called her new line "fantasy - classic inspiration but with a new, kind of funky spin," adding, "Girls who are young are going to wear it... to feel sophisticated, because it does have a chic kind of feeling to it, but people who are older who wear it are going to feel young, flirty and fun. It really has a nice mix."

The couple "bumped and grinded" on the dancefloor at top club Vice before moving on to a party at another trendy hang-out, Opera.

A bystander who spotted the couple "letting it all hang out" at Financially Hung's Black Card Party at Vice says, "She was clearly making advances and he loved it."

"Federline kissed her on the cheek - but I think that was only because he knew all eyes were on him."

The couple left the club separately but hooked up again at Opera early on Friday morning.

The super-slim 'Atonement' star insists most of the women she auditions against are far smaller and skinnier than she is.

She said: "Weight is a big issue in Hollywood because I'm twice the size - height and everything else - of most of the girls who are going in to see the director for a part. When you realise that I am, at my size, one of the largest actresses there, you start to think, 'I don't think it'd be healthy for me to stay here much longer.' "

The 22-year-old actress has been criticised in the past because of her weight, and accused of having an eating disorder.

She was awarded £3,000 damages earlier this year after a British national newspaper suggested she was anorexic.

Movie hunk Josh Hartnett has learned he's not ready to be a father after playing one for the first time.

The Pearl Harbor actor admits he grew very close to his onscreen son, Dakota Goyo, in new film Resurrecting The Champ, but the actor was relieved when he could hand the kid back to his mom at the end of each working day.

Hartnett says, "I developed a connection with the kid. The third day he was already putting his arms around my leg and attached himself to me. He was sweet."

"He was a kid, really squirrely and ran around a lot so we just goofed around. At the end of the day I got to give him back to his mom, so I was saved some of the parenting aspects."

"I don't think I'm ready yet. I think I've got a little bit of time left in me before I become a parent."

Nicole Richie’s alarmingly skinny frame has given many people cause for concern for her unborn child. But the nearly four-months-pregnant star told Diane Sawyer in part two of her Good Morning America interview today that there is nothing to worry about. “I eat all the time, especially now,” said Nicole. “I’m constantly hungry. I’m eating at least every hour.”

The welfare of her child is of utmost concern to her, said Nicole. “Just like any mother, you know, you want to take the best care of yourself, especially while you’re pregnant. And I’m definitely eating healthier now, and I’m really playing by the rules. I do not drink caffeine at all, I cut out sushi.”

And as for drugs and alcohol, the formerly “out of control party girl,” to use Diane Sawyer’s words, remained adamant that she’s changed her lifestyle. “No alcohol ... No marijuana ... No pills ... Nothing ... No smoking around me,” said Nicole. Her boyfriend, Good Charlotte front man Joel Madden, has also joined her in her efforts to protect their unborn child and quit smoking.

Almost four weeks after Us Weekly first broke the news that Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden were expecting, Richie has finally confirmed her pregnancy.

In an interview scheduled to air this Thursday on Good Morning America and then Friday on Good Morning America and 20/20, the former Simple Life star tells ABC News' Diane Sawyer, "Yes I am. We are. I'm almost four months."

In addition to finally coming clean on her growing baby bump, Richie, 25, talks to Sawyer about her decision to plead guilty to drunk driving charges. “I have a responsibility and it’s something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would. And unfortunately I can’t, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult.”

Richie was convicted on July 27 and must serve 96 hours in jail for her DUI within the next 60 days.

Scarlett Johansson has laughed off claims she will play porn star Jenna Jameson in a Hollywood biopic.

Jameson herself prompted reports at the Comic Con convention in San Diego, California in July (07), when she said of the actress' performance in Lost In Translation, "I remember thinking to myself, this girl has such a sexuality without even really trying to be sexy. I was like, 'This girl could play me.'

"I love her. She's amazing. She's smart, she's funny. ... She's stunning."

"I don't want someone who's going to go in there and be like bouncing around. I want someone who can bring some depth."

But Johansson knows nothing of the film project - based on Jameson's book How to Make Love Like A Porn - which is to be titled Heartbreaker.

He’s an actor, producer and director. But who knew Mel Gibson was a mover and a shaker on the real estate market?

Gibson has sold his Malibu mansion for a hefty price tag of $30 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.

He bought the property two years ago for $24 million.

The 7,000-square foot beachfront locale has six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a wine cellar, lagoon pool and a cabana.

But Gibson’s money-making moves don’t stop there.

Gibson also reportedly sold a home in Connecticut for $39.5 million and a ranch in Costa Rica for over $25 million.

Britney's Disastrous Photo Shoot With Ok! Magazine

TMZ has learned that Britney Spears's self-arranged photo shoot and interview with OK! Magazine was a complete disaster. We're told that the photos are so bad, execs at the magazine are, at this moment, trying to decide whether to report what actually happened -- or sanitize the truth to protect the pop trainwreck.

According to multiple sources, Britney's behavior during the interview was "nothing less than a meltdown." She was, according to our sources, "completely out of it" during the shoot. The photos are "so bad" we've learned, that to publish them could "kill her career." Apparently, Brit Brit's eyes rolled back in her head at one point, causing her to look half dead. Her mood, we're told, was extremely erratic. She took frequent bathroom breaks our source says, and each time she returned her mood would change. She was also completely paranoid during the entire interview, fearing at one point the ceiling was about to cave in on her. Out of control y'all!

We've also learned that Brit had some issues with hygiene on the set as well. At one point, Britney ordered up some fried chicken to munch on. We're told after she chowed down, she wiped her hands on a several thousand dollar Gucci dress that she was wearing for the shoot, staining it with grease. Yuck! One of her dogs also needed some assistance in the housebreaking department. Our on-set spy says that the dog pooped all over the floor, and Brit used (what else?) -- a Chanel dress to clean it up! How trashtastic!As for how Brit looked for the photos, another nightmare. We've learned that OK! hired two of the best hair and makeup artists in L.A. to transform the once-bald beauty into something more presentable, but she wasn't havin' none of that. She refused to let the hired help touch her, opting instead for her "skanky friends" to do her hair and makeup. No wonder she always looks so fantastic!

And if you're wondering where her mom/publicist/lawyer/friend/ANYONE was to help her out, we're told that even her cousin Alli (who until recently was working as her personal assistant) couldn't deal, and is "done" with Miss Spears.

We'll see when OK! hits the stands this week -- if they actually have the balls to print the truth about what happened. We're guessing they don't!

A call to Brit's rep was not immediately returned. A rep for OK! would not discuss the upcoming issue.

Ray J Dating Another Kim?

Ray J is romancing rapper Lil' Kim after splitting from Whitney Houston, according to U.s. reports.

The singer/actor, who is Brandy's younger brother, treated Kim to a $20,000 shopping spree at Louis Vuitton on Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills earlier this month and now friends are insisting Ray J is romancing the former jailbird.

A source tells the new issue of In Touch Weekly magazine, "They've been spending a lot of time together."

The publication reports Ray J also organized a surprise birthday party for Lil' Kim at Los Angeles hotspot Les Deux.

The source says, "He treats all the women who are in his life well."

Lil' Kim befriended Ray J after she appeared in his 2001 video Wait A Minute.

Ray J hit the headlines last year when footage from a sex tape he shot with ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian appeared on the internet.
