Angelina Jolie has praised partner Brad Pitt's parents for accepting her and her adopted children so soon after the actor's divorce from Jennifer Aniston.
Jolie and Pitt's relationship was made public in April 2005 when they were photographed vacationing with the actress' adopted son Maddox on a beach in Kenya - just three months after the actor split from Aniston after four and half years of marriage.
The Mr & Mrs Smith co-stars officially confirmed their relationship in January 2006 when they announced that "they" were expecting their first biological child together. Daughter Shiloh Nouvel was born four months later in Namibia.
Last year (06), Pitt filed papers to be recognised as the legal adoptive father of Jolie's adopted children Maddox and Zahara, and the couple recently added Vietnamese tot Pax to their brood.
Jolie admits she was worried when she first met Pitt's parents Jane and William - whose fondness for Aniston is well-documented - but they were very nice to her.
She says, "When I first met them I came in with two adopted children from other countries and I didn't know how they were going to be. But they are equally loving with them."
