Jada Pinkett-Smith would quit acting if it ever jeopardized her marriage.
The 'Reign Over Me' star and husband Will Smith are both successful actors, but she values her family above her career.
Jada, 35, told Britain's Independent newspaper: "I'm very aware how busy careers can quickly lead to divorce, but I'm not going to let that happen to us. I will throw my career away before I let it break up our marriage. I made it clear to Will. I'd throw it away completely, which is what I'm doing to a certain extent."
In her latest film, Jada plays a wife trapped in an unhappy marriage. She claims the role taught her how to make her own marriage stronger.
Jada said: "For me, these were experiences that were relatable, but the most interesting aspect of the relationship between this particular couple is that you see all the time how the smallest little germs can get inside of a relationship, things that aren't really tangible, but can create such a huge deterioration within a marriage.
"And you see this all the time - these are the things that you always have to be careful of."
"Even though you have this union as husband and wife, you can never forget who you are, just simply as yourself. If you lose yourself then everything else will fall out. There is no relationship to be had if you don't have a relationship with yourself first."

So, when Jada gives up her career or slightly as she states she is doing now. Later, in her life if they are not togather. Will she blames him for giving up her career just to keep her marriage. Then she contridict herself by saying "If you lose yourself then everything else will fall out". Jada need to listen to herself before she speak of her marrige and feelings. Would she then be upset if she then called a Trophy wife if she gives up her career. Jada please think before giving interviews. You always contridict yourself. If a man is going to cheat he will and if he chooses not to he won't.
Wow give up her career? Which means more time to watch big Willie and call him 30 times a day to check up on it. Keep your career cause it should not interfer with you marriage. Plus she got her fe-male girls(lvrs) club. They are slowly speaking up/exposing her in hollyweird! I guess staying home would benefit her after all.
