Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has vowed to quit Hollywood in a bid to stay clean from drugs, according to her father.

Michael Lohan reunited with his daughter earlier this month in Utah, where the Mean Girls star is seeking counselling at the Cirque Lodge treatment centre.

He says, "When we finally came face to face we just clung on to each other and did not stop crying for at least half an hour.

"Lindsay said, 'Daddy, I have done some terrible things and been addicted to drugs but please believe me I will never do drugs again. I hate Hollywood and I don't want to work there. I need a break and I am moving away. I will stop hanging around with the people that are bad for me.'"

"She said she does not want to live in Hollywood as that is where the evil in her life happens."

The pair haven't seen each other since Michael went to prison in New York after he was found guilty of driving while intoxicated and other charges two years ago.

"Federline kissed her on the cheek - but I think that was only because he knew all eyes were on him."

The couple left the club separately but hooked up again at Opera early on Friday morning.

Hartnett says, "I developed a connection with the kid. The third day he was already putting his arms around my leg and attached himself to me. He was sweet."

"He was a kid, really squirrely and ran around a lot so we just goofed around. At the end of the day I got to give him back to his mom, so I was saved some of the parenting aspects."

"I don't think I'm ready yet. I think I've got a little bit of time left in me before I become a parent."

TMZ has learned that Britney Spears's self-arranged photo shoot and interview with OK! Magazine was a complete disaster. We're told that the photos are so bad, execs at the magazine are, at this moment, trying to decide whether to report what actually happened -- or sanitize the truth to protect the pop trainwreck.

According to multiple sources, Britney's behavior during the interview was "nothing less than a meltdown." She was, according to our sources, "completely out of it" during the shoot. The photos are "so bad" we've learned, that to publish them could "kill her career." Apparently, Brit Brit's eyes rolled back in her head at one point, causing her to look half dead. Her mood, we're told, was extremely erratic. She took frequent bathroom breaks our source says, and each time she returned her mood would change. She was also completely paranoid during the entire interview, fearing at one point the ceiling was about to cave in on her. Out of control y'all!

We've also learned that Brit had some issues with hygiene on the set as well. At one point, Britney ordered up some fried chicken to munch on. We're told after she chowed down, she wiped her hands on a several thousand dollar Gucci dress that she was wearing for the shoot, staining it with grease. Yuck! One of her dogs also needed some assistance in the housebreaking department. Our on-set spy says that the dog pooped all over the floor, and Brit used (what else?) -- a Chanel dress to clean it up! How trashtastic!As for how Brit looked for the photos, another nightmare. We've learned that OK! hired two of the best hair and makeup artists in L.A. to transform the once-bald beauty into something more presentable, but she wasn't havin' none of that. She refused to let the hired help touch her, opting instead for her "skanky friends" to do her hair and makeup. No wonder she always looks so fantastic!

And if you're wondering where her mom/publicist/lawyer/friend/ANYONE was to help her out, we're told that even her cousin Alli (who until recently was working as her personal assistant) couldn't deal, and is "done" with Miss Spears.

We'll see when OK! hits the stands this week -- if they actually have the balls to print the truth about what happened. We're guessing they don't!

A call to Brit's rep was not immediately returned. A rep for OK! would not discuss the upcoming issue.

Lindsay Lohan has a new fashion accessory - an ankle bracelet that monitors alcohol intake.

The actress checked out of rehab at the weekend after addressing her alcohol-related issues, but she has chosen to prove she intends to stay away from booze by monitoring her drinking.

Lohan will voluntarily wear the alcohol-detecting ankle bracelet for the foreseeable future, according to the actress' publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik.

In a statement, Sloane Zelnik says, "In part she is wearing the bracelet so there are no questions about her sobriety if she chooses to go dancing or dining in a place where alcohol is served."

"Lindsay is working hard on her sobriety and we are all supporting her."

Lohan checked into rehab centre Promises in Malibu, California at the end of May after she crashed her Mercedes Benz in Beverly Hills and was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

On dealing with rumors that David had an affair three years ago:
VB: “I’m not going to lie. It was a really tough time. It was hard for our entire families...David and I got through it together. No one said marriage was going to be easy. Yes, there have been bumps along the road. But the fact is we’ve come out of everything we’ve been through stronger and happier. It’s even better now than when we were first married. Hilary Duff looks so good that she was chosen for the cover of Us Weekly’s first annual swimsuit issue. But when the singer/actress was 15, she came across a press report criticizing her for her weight.

“It made me obsessed,” she tells Us of the story that drove her into a hard-core diet and exercise binge. “I would beat myself up if I had some fat.”

But when the 5-foot-2 star’s weight plummeted to around 100 pounds in 2005 (down from 130 in 2003), her sister Haylie, 22, finally intervened.

“She said, ‘Why are you being so strict with yourself?'It was like an awakening,” says Duff, who eased up on her rigorous program.

“I don’t want to be so skinny that people are like, Oh my god, she’s lost a lot of weight.”

Now, at 19, Duff tells Us that she’s content at 109 pounds. "As you get older, you just get more comfortable in your own skin."

Instead of counting fat grams or calories, she relies on a hearty helping of common sense: lots of greens, lean protein and fresh fruit.

Britney Spears has mocked Lindsay Lohan in a posting on her official website.

The 'Toxic' singer has invited fans to choose the title of her comeback album and has given them five options.

The first title 'Omg is Like Lindsay Lohan Like Okay Like' is an obvious dig at the troubled actress, trivializing her latest trip to rehab.

The posting, titled "You'll Never See it My Way,

Because You're Not Me" says "Britney is asking her most die-hard fans for some assistance in order to name her upcoming album".

The other four possible titles are 'What if the Joke is on You', 'Down boy', 'Integrity' and 'Dignity'.

Socialite Paris Hilton's spell in jail is costing the taxpayer more than 11 times what it costs to incarcerate the average inmate.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress costs Los Angeles County $1,109.78, compared to the average $99.64.

Los Angeles Sherriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore tells website TMZ.com, Hilton's tab includes medical treatment and staff associated with her requirements.

Hilton was sent back to the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California on Friday to finish the 45-day sentence she began earlier this month - after a judge reversed the decision to allow her to complete the sentence under house arrest.

If Hilton had finished her sentence at home, it would have cost the County nothing.

R&B singer Rihanna used to sing so loud in the shower while growing up in Barbados, her neighbors regularly complained.

Despite their complaints, the 19-year-old Bahamian has no regrets about her uninhibited crooning.

She says, "I was pretty loud. I annoyed them. I'm sorry, but I don't regret it and I'm sure they don't either."
